ILAS Annual Linguistics Forum, or ILASALF, is initiated by the Institute of Linguistics, with the goal to elevate the standard of research in the core areas of linguistics by promoting the scholarly exchange and discussion among researchers both locally and internationally. It is held annually as a theme-oriented one-day event.

The second ILASALF is organized by the Corpus and Computational Linguistics Research Group with the theme ‘National Language corpora’, highlighting issues related to the design, compilation and application of linguistic corpora.
